1. What Information We Collect

When you register, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, and password.
When you fill your profile, we collect personal details like date of birth, religion, caste, education, occupation, city, and a photo.
When you use the platform, we collect activity data like profiles you viewed, interests you sent, and messages you exchanged.
When you make a payment, we collect transaction details. We do NOT store your card number or UPI PIN — payments go directly through Razorpay.
We may collect your device type and browser information to improve the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

To show your profile to other members who are looking for a match.
To recommend suitable profiles to you based on your preferences.
To send you alerts about new matches, messages, and interests via SMS, email, or WhatsApp.
To verify your profile and keep the platform safe from fake profiles.
To process your membership payments and provide customer support.
To improve our platform and fix technical issues.

3. Who Can See Your Information

Your profile details (name, photo, bio, education, etc.) are visible to all registered members.
Your mobile number is NEVER shown publicly. It is only visible to paid members who use a "contact view" to unlock it.
Your email address is never visible to other members.
Your password is encrypted and is never visible to anyone, including our team.
We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties or advertisers.

4. Your Control Over Your Data

You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings.
You can block specific users from viewing your profile.
You can hide your profile from search results using Privacy Settings.
You can delete your account permanently. All your data is removed within 30 days of deletion.
You can contact us at support@jodirishta.com to request a copy of your data or to ask us to delete it.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences.
We use analytics cookies to understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.

Jodi Rishta is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to register.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we discover a profile belongs to a minor, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make significant changes, we will notify you by SMS or email.
Continued use of Jodi Rishta after changes means you accept the updated policy.
